Avant Guard Art Education Program, 1998 – 2000
P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, Long Island City, New York

I conceived of, organized, and taught this program to give the P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center Security Guards a more comprehensive look at the contemporary and historical art world, to enable them to understand the environment in which they work, to enrich the environment in which they live, and to use art as a tool to express themselves. Workshops include: Gallery Guides/Avant Guard guides, Art Visits to Other Institutions, Artmaking Workshops, Artist Lectures, GED Classes, High School Student Security Guard Drop Out Prevention Workshops, Preparator Training Workshops.
