One-bedroom apartment features exposed fieldstone walls, exposed heavy timber beams, new kitchen, new bathroom, new high efficiency furnace, Mercer tile countertop, and a private courtyard.

Original structure was built circa 1790 and the exterior retains exposed stone walls, timber framing and slate roof. Noted architect Henry Hebbeln, friend of Arshile Gorky and Alexander Calder, renovated the closed forebay bank barn in the 1950s for his own use as a studio, when the 15' high by 42' all-glass wall was added. Apartment is newly renovated.

75 minutes from NYC and 4 miles from the Delaware River.

Ideally, I am looking for someone who maintains their primary residence, and uses the barn as a studio here in the country - a place they can come to create for a few days, weekends, or a few weeks, or so. However, I will consider renting it as a fulltime residence.

Rental includes both the apartment and the studio loft. Because the loft space is not heated, the rent shall be as follows: December thru March: $1,100 per month; April thru November: $1,700 per month. Utilities approx approx $150/month. WIFI and High Speed Internet.

Cats are OK, but, sorry, no dogs.
